You should manually dial this number on your multifunction device or a fax machine with a handset to send a fax to a FaxExtension recipient. After the number is dialed and you are prompted for the extension, you should dial the recipient’s extension.
For example, if the recipient’s extension is 1234, dial +1 808-SEND-FAX (+1 808-736-3329) first. Once you are prompted for the extension, dial 1234. You will hear a fax tone now. The main fax number of FaxExtension recipients is +1 808-SEND-FAX (+1 808-736-3329). To send a fax to a recipient at FaxExtension, you must add pauses after the main number, followed by the recipient’s extension. We recommend adding between 3 to 5 seconds of pause after the main number.
For example, if your multifunction device, fax machine, online fax service, or a fax application on your computer uses a comma (,) to indicate a pause, and the recipient’s extension is 1234, then you should input the following value as the recipient’s number: +18087363329,,,1234.
